Absolutely love it. This is better than the Hindenburg.
The Situation needs his own show after this run ends. That is non-negotiable.

The first thing I thought when I saw "The Jersey Shore is the greatest cultural achivement ever" was, "wow, Strike, you like getting stabbed in your feet with needles?"
But then I figured out it was a reality show and lost all interest in this thre

Foghat rocks.
I saw a little bit of this, I may have to keep watching. Saw the bit where they put charcoal in a gas grill...
It's not really a reality show, it's more like a nature documentary. All that's missing is the narration by David Attenborough.
Here we can observe the curious mating dance of the northeastern inked guido. The frenzied gyrations are meant to attract the female, while the meatball physique and tribal tattoos serve to scare off potential rival suitors.

Okay, I love the show, but my main beef against it is that people get the wrong impression about the Shore by watching it*. None of these people actually live at the Shore. I think only one or two of them live in NJ. The rest are from New York (three from Staten Island) and one of them is from RI. They are the vacationers and tourists that populate the region and drive its commerce during the summer time, but they are not Shore residents.
*NOTE: I am not a Shore resident. However, having been born and raised in NJ, as well as having visited the Shore more times than probably any of the cast members, I feel somewhat obligated to stick up for another part of my state.
Also, the show totally ignores South Jersey, which actually makes up for a far larger portion of the Shore, but being from South Jersey and thus having that much more disassociation with the shenanigans going on in the show, I don't mind that too much. :laugh4:

QFT. I wanna punch the producer of that show in the face and then break his kneecaps with a baseball bat.

New Jersey lawmakers asked MTV to cancel the show. (http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D9CPAL3O0&show_article=1)
And the New York Times has a 'handbook (http://tmagazine.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/12/17/the-jersey-shore-handbook/?scp=1&sq=jersey%20shore&st=cse)' for the show.

These fine young NJ gentlemen should serve as proof. :beam:
