Could someone tell me the moral of the story. I just came away with don't go homo because you'll either be beat to death by a bunch of rednecks or live out your life in a trailer as a lonely old queen. Did I miss something?:help:
I need one of you enlightened Euro sensitive types to help me with my feminine side I guess.:laugh4:
Well, it's hard to say what the "moral" of a love story is. What's the moral of Gone With the Wind? What's the moral of Pride & Prejudice? What's the moral of Turner & Hooch?

You saw it?
It has made you gay now.
Do you want some tea, while we talk about your emotions over this movie?

Remember to marry a lesbian instead of a straight woman?

I personally like the taste of tuna
My sister insisted, as she did with Moulin Rouge, it's a very good movie

That kind of stuff's illegal here :drummer:

Must have been a matter of great urgency to make it so :smash:

Why do I think putting on an amusing smile everything I think of what would happen if a banned forum member was married to your sister.

I haven't seen it. Don't like cowboy movies.

i like a cowboy movie as much as the next xenophobic and nationalistic racist with militaristic and autarkic tendencies, but i simply have no wish to see crazy-man-fun beamed into my eyeballs, as an exercise in leisure time fun.

Haven't seen it. When I heard they weren't actually cowboys, but sheep-herders in the 1960's, I already had my doubts about the authenticity of the plot. A Stetson does not a cowboy make.
Now, show me a movie where John Wayne and Clint Eastwood lay hands on each other in anything other than a barroom brawl - I'd actually be interested, to see how the writers & actors made that real.

Is there man-to-man kissing in the movie? If so, did it win the MTV Movie awards best kiss or was it at least nominated? And if not, could we maybe give it a HOF Award?

Ah, Spaghetti Westerns... Brokeback Mountain is precisely the reason you never try to branch too far off Louis L'Amores format, Cowboys are only cool when they aren't having buttsex.

You have obviously never been to a gay bar called Saddle Rash. I was there for professional reasons, I swear.
That would be wonderful!!!:beam:
I think you mean fabulous.

The first manhumping scene was rather... 'violent', if I had to choose an adjective.

I think the thread probably served its purpose - whatever that might have been...
