Who here trap shoots? Also known as skeet shooting.
I've been trap shooting for a little over a year but have been in the Marin County 4h trap club since I was about 2 when my dad would take me out when he shot. We are one of the largest 4H trap clubs in the country as well as the oldest.
We celebrated the 90th birthday of a man who helped start the club over 50 years ago.
My best score was 23/25 and I've done as bad as getting 02/25.

I used to go a lot with my dad but we moved and now the closest range is like an hour and a half away.

I used to shoot clay birds with my Father quite a bit. We did go to the gun club sometimes, but we had our own clay bird chucker and used to have shoots with family & friends any place we could do so. I developed quite an eye by 14 or 15, and could beat my Father and his friends more often than not. We used to load our own shells and I probably shot a couple thousand rounds per season. The best, and luckiest, shot I ever made, in front of Dad, Grampa, and several of their friends was when I hit a clay bird with a deer slug.
I have a lot of fond memories spent with my Dad shooting clays & hunting. Cherish and enjoy them while you have the opportunity.:2thumbsup:

Damn your right that is super luck
If we got any bay area or Sonoma county orgahs that shoot I think it would be kinda cool to goto the club and let off a couple (hundred) rounds
