Well, here is my problem. I have never played online battles before, and recently these idea crossed my mind. So, my Internet is 200 kb pro second. I installed GameSpy, that was default soft on my RTW disk, I updated it, got registrated. I even joined one game, but about 1 minute left I was crashed to the menu (may be I was just boot out?). Oh, yes it was in Vanilla. In EB and on EB for BI I can't join battles coz of different versions, or just having crash to the menu.

What soft do you use for online battles? Is there anyone who plays online on EB on BI? Do I have enough speed (200kb)? :help:

Thanks for your attention

In online battles, you face humans, and BI engine only give shieldwall advantage in custom. Better stick on standard MP shortcut on trivial script.

But if you really want to use BI for MP (for shieldwall) first, made sure that you and your partner BOTH had an IDENTIC EDU for multiplayer, and copying that multiplayer BI EDU MANUALLY (don't forget to create a backup for original files first). Just copy to your EB/DATA folder and run with BI shortcut as usual.

Have you ever played a single online battle with another person? (EB, not R:TW)

If not, then you will find that the de facto standard at the moment is for users to connect to a handful of Hamachi networks, using "vanilla" EB. That is to say, an EB 1.2 installation over R:TW 1.5, no sub-modifications. The reason for this is to not allow for an incompatible data error to arise.

Have fun.
