Anyone else have some bad luck before the holidays?

Man, this past week was terrible for me. Losing contact with half my friends here and slow contact with the rest from a slow org has really put a damper on my pre Christmas joy. Well, has anyone else had some holiday bad luck they wish to share?

A mate of mine lived in a bicycle radius, and a few more in 15 min car drive radius.
That was 2 years ago. Last year, I had tonnes of bored boarders to keep me company :clown:
