"Ey, Rob, you Believe this????"
"Yeah, why??? afraid of Getting army Jobs ,Cody??"
"mmmmmmmm...........Nope, I'm just afraid to die"
"Ohhh, Hell yeah-Everybody's gonna have to die , Cody,"
well, he was supprised seeing me already taking a bath. It was 10.00 AM, and I Decided to take

I then Returned to my Friend's house.

Offficer Candidate
for some weeks I've been thinking about wut should I join, Infantry, Armour, Gunner,
sailor, or Pilot?????
but, at last, I found my Choice, the newly activated Airborne Divisions.
I then enlisted as a Private in the Airborne HQ, in Fort Benning, Georgia.
Suddenly, for my Potential (like they said), me,and Rob Jackson were
chosen as Officer Candidates. Lucky for us, the Officer Candidate camp was at Benning to,
we were trained there for at least 2 months. we were traiined By Col. Robert F. Sink, a Great
Commander, and the CO of the 506th PIR. We graduated as a 2nd Lieutenant, and was positioned in
the 502d PIR in 3rd battalion, Fox Company, 3rd Plt.

Training
We trained in Fort Benning for 9 months. we ran through the hills, forests, and Towns there.
on January, 1943, we were shipped to England, to get ready for this "Operation Overlord".
At England, It was Winter, low temperature, and a warm Welcome was the 1st thing
they gave us there. We trained Parachuting, running, Real-Combat, and Fighting, in the early
1944, we were ready to kill the Germans.

we've known from that time, death will not be a hard thing

Its time to do some PT.
We jogged nine miles and we ran three,
The First Sergeants yelling follow me!
Then we walked two miles and ran eight!
Airborne PT sure is great!

CHAPTER II
NORMANDY

Prolouge
June 3rd, 1944...................
For a long time we waited for this moment, for this tome, for this hour...........
we waited to do the real Job, The Real Thing. The 82nd have done this before...
and Hell yeah, they were suprised........
they just got shot even when they were not on the Ground.......

Yesterday Night I found a Bar in England, and I did'nt knew where was that goddamn bar.
I was Drunk, along with my friend, Salvatore Guzzo. We were still Privates, no Expirience
we were just Grunts made outta Taxi Drivers, or some Grocery guys. I realized that, that was
the Last night we were at England, and our Last Night having fun with the English Chaps.
heuh....
It was Really nice meeting them. Really Plain Guys.
Laugher covered our faces, and, we were really happy with those Wine they gave us. We spent
a hole night there. I was there with Norman Rogers, 2nd Squad's Sergeant. he was
a really good Person, and was my Friend from Boot Camp, although he reached Corporal Faster
than I did. I was'nt even Corporal yet. There to was also a Lieutenant, His name was
Henry Shames, 3rd Platoon Commander, a really Jokey Guy, reminds me of Goofy in Disneyland.
a BUnch of 2nd Squad was there to, Including me, Guzzo, Thompson, Wey, Buck, and Sticky
Mithrandir. The Weather did'nt looked good that night, and we hoped our Invasion would come
somedays later...........
Every Morning 'till Afternoon we studied the Geoghraphy of our Landing Site, Col. Moosley adresses us every time. I was Drunk, I fell down of my Chair, then fell asleep. the others were trying To wake me up, "Wake Up, Johnny, Wake Up!!!!!!!!"
Then, a Large Light, shining over my eyes, as Shiny as My Girlfriend's smile. Hell, I could'nt
Forget my Girlfriend, sadly, we broke up, and I entered this "Army-Job". Guzzo was a
Mechanic, working in a Garage in New Jersey, I came from Atlanta, such a Glamorous City.
Wey came from St. Louis, Missouri, the same Place where Sgt. Matthew Baker came from.
After I forget thinking of my Friends, I realized it was already Morning.

I quickly found a Jeep, and Rushed to the Airfield near that Bar......
I was lucky that it was'nt 7 O'clock yet, and I rushed to the Bathroom to take a Bath.
In the Bathroom, there was Sergeant Franklin Clarke,
Sgt.Franklin Clarke, 3rd Squad, 3rd Platoon, Fox Company, 502d PIR, 101st Airborne Div.
http://www.yorkblog.com/yorktownsquare/Thomas-W-Clarke.jpg
I could'nt forget his Face, Laughing at me, Goddamn smiling at me. anotheer Smile in My mind.....
Pheeewwwwwwww.........
I was happy I could Reach the Airfield fast enough, now, I can prepare myself for D-Day, and
Kill some Germans.

That night, at 0000 Hours, I Gathered up with my Platoon, and With my Squad, led by
S/Sgt. Norman Rogers. Lt. Harrison Checked our Equipment, along with Platoon 2nd-in-Command, Technical Sergeant(T/Sgt.) Bill Hayes. Bill Thinks that he was his
Staff or something, but, Lt. Harrison, just made him the same Like our other Sarges, and
he was Given Control of 1st Squad. We were ready, Hardy, Blood Thirsty, and "Cannot Wait Anymore".
But Suddenly...................
