About a couple of months ago someone in this forum posted about a book that described what the Roman and Greek and Egyptians and the other civilzations knowledge was and what of this knowhow we lost for ages and centuries. Does any one of you brothers know what I am talking about? Forgot the name of this book and really would like to know more about the subject and of course buy it. :help:

If anyone knows other books, you are welcome.
Regards
Etienne

Above gives probably the answer, but you are probably referring to Egypt, Greece and Rome by Charles Freeman.

No luck in the search for now.

Let me give maybe more detail..

It is about what the ancients knew in terms or Math, Science, and things like that and it talked about Roman, Egyptians,Greeks and other civilizations and how these with the end of the Roman empire were lost and afterwards re-introduced by Arabs and in the later stages of the 16th and 17th and 18th centuries.

Damn it I did not take down title!! Hope someone will give me some titles so ll check them up on amazon or so.

Thanks again
Etienne
