Hello

I'n my current Parthian campaign, i saw the Saka FL having a trait that he dismissed Han envoys, but let them live.

My question for Saka Rauka players is, if this event i scripted? I mean, do you get the advisor telling you that the Han have sent you ambassadors in order to benefit you someway, or is this just a regular trait that anyone can have just by beign born?

Thanks for the answers

Han dynasty at that time were still troubled by the Xiongnu, which some say were the ancestors of the Huns. They're sending ambassadors and delagates to look for allies to trade and ally against their common foe...while building up a new mounted infantry army in secret....

I'm a bit confused about your post. Does this mean this is some sort of mission, or did you just make this up? :clown:

I think it's a good idea, the Parthians did everything to avoid the alliance of these two empires. Gan Ying was discouraged from by Parthians carrying on its way. Because it is astonishing that he stopped also quickly, because the Chineses knew already the big cities of the East like Antioche and Alexandria.
Moreover, in 94 Parthians sent many gifts to the court of Han.

This is not a scripted event. There is a trait for Saka faction leaders which says they received Han envoys. This trait can develop in several directions, like dismissing the envoys, executing them, receiving more envoys or becoming a puppet of the Han.
According to the edct the basic trait for receiving Han envoys can be aquired after 447 turns - thats ca. 160BC.
