We set a record of snowfall for the month of December. Lemme know how much you love snow after you've shoved a couple feet of it while it's -5 degrees out.

Should be -11 here tonight.
:shame:

:shame:
Were expecting -15
I've not even joking....
I imagine many homeless will die tonight in these climates unless they get themselves to the salvation army and if thats full I'd commit a crime, at least then you'd have some warmth in a prison cell... :shame: Though at least I'm missing school, snow everywhere.... :egypt:
You Brits are talking Celsius, 'khaan is talking Fahrenheit. The US has been quite chilly these past couple of weeks.

Flurrying? Isn't that a milkshake?

I'm pretty sure I'm talking degrees, as khaan is....coldest winter in 30 years in the UK, I believe, its coming from Siberia so hardly surprising, though.

Gotta love those Siberian Fronts (as I'm sure anyone in Alaska/Alberta/Saskatchewan/Montana could agree) are cold as hell. I much prefer the relatively balmy arctic fronts, thankfully we haven't had one in quite some time, maybe five or six years. Supposed to be around -10F this evening, so not too bad.

and whats even better is that georgia is not prepared even for the slightest bit of snow so our 1/4 inch of snow closes the city and the schools!
EDIT: SNOW DAY TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!
My brother reports that it's below freezing in Houston tonight. That's kinda freaky. I thought Houston only got the monsoon and the dry season.
Of course we're getting a solid foot overnight here in southern Wisconsin. I trust schools will be open tomorrow.

-15 F in England then? Have fun with that...
We are getting flurries here, about 1/2 inch so far. Highs for the next week hovering around freezing, nights into the teens. I get to drive to Ohio tomorrow for the weekend, should be an interesting trip. :san_rolleyes:
-26 predicted :beam:
That, mia muca's, is cold.

Some say there could be more snow and more cold next week to.
We're currently trying to get some grit from the Swedes. We've run out.

23C daytime, 7C at night (75F/45F). No snow in the mountains yet this winter - gonna be another drought year. Yuck.

It's times like this where I truly appreciate the year-round 75-80 degree weather of Coastal Northern California.

It's -14C now (6.8F), so it's pretty warm today.
Also those temperatures just make me happy to be where I'm at.
We are all happy you are where you are at

Just back from my morning jog and it's at -2F. At least it stopped snowing, for the first time in a week. I blame Canada & Al Gore...:inquisitive: may their brass monkeys become eunuchs

It's your own fault for shoving it. Snow should be kept in the place it falls unless it's obstructing a door or so. Car doors don't count.
Here we got a couple centimeters of snow and the cities run out of salt to put on the roads etc., talk like it surprised them, blabla, it's really pathetic, like we don't get a winter every year...

It's colder in Miami, Florida, than at a ski area in Western Washington. :dizzy2::furious3::wall:

Yeah, think of the poor suckers who went to tropical Florida for vacation. Instead of the beach they're cruising the malls looking for winter clothing.
Here on Canada's balmy east coast it's 5 degrees C, was the same yesterday. Winter heatwave WOOOO!!!! But it's gonna be -5 tomorrow.

It's been like that the past couple days on the prairies, too. I wanted to go skating and play a hockey scrimmy on the outdoor rinks, but that damn sun is ruining everything.
