HI!

This is my first post and i have question.

All my Mic`s (barracks) in Italy are damaged at all time, and when i repair them they get 100% damage next turn. I am worried that i will not be able to recruit the Imperium`s finest when i get an emperor for my glorius, anti-barbarian killing machine.

Does anyone know any solutions to this problem. (Not the barbarian slaughter. That is not a problem.)

IIRC this happens if you load a script the second time without exiting EB.

For instance, if you play as Rome, activate the script, and then decide that you want to play with another faction or a previus save, you must first quit EB, and not just load a new game and load the script. This messes the game up

Well. guess i should destroy and rebuild my Mic`s then, since i allready have saved after this happened.

Thanks for clearing it for me.

Yes. I have the Marian reform, and are in year 105 B.C

Ah. I think that's your issue - when the Marian Reforms kick in, the old MIC is destroyed and the game replaces it with a new one. Check in your settlement, there should be a new MIC in addition to the old, damaged one. -M

It was another Mic. I just couldn`t see it because there was to many other buildings in the cities in central Italy (had to destroy some buildings to see them)

Thank you very much!

Isn't there a scroll arrow to see your other buildings?

It is a scroll arrw, yes. But it can only scroll once and it was to many buildings for those two pages there.

Does this happen to other factions too?
I seem to be in the Time of Bondsmen now (Arverni), because this tag appears in my settlements, but I have not seen a single auto-damaged MIC yet.

Yes it's the first time I have reached a reform in my 5 yrs of RTW gaming ;o)

You're actually supposed to quit the game and restart the game before loading a campaign again? :furious3:

Are you serious? So even if I wanted to reload my current campaign, I would quit EB, start it again, and load? :furious3: :furious3: :furious3: < furious

Yes, it does happen to other factions that receive MIC upgrades. I have had it happen to my Aedui and Casse campaigns as well as the Roman ones. Ticked me off when I kept repairing all of Gaul for 10 turns just to have it keep being damaged.

So bad that I don't see any damaged barracks in my oppida.

Between every two times you activate the script, you should exit EB. If you only save and continue the game, there's no need to restart EB.

It may be a small effort but... imo EB is a sufficiently long game (both in battles and campaign-play), so I don't really feel any need to play two different factions at the same time. How can you keep trace of all army movements, army compositions and the great construction strategy, let alone role-play, in two different games?
