Why cant I mod this?

When I change my descr_strat file, afer I save it and start the game the changes don't take effect. I have also tried restarting the cpu afterward. The only change that took effect is when I changed the "The World Is Round" event to take effect sooner. What I tried to do was change what characters I got so that I could get more of certain characers. I also tried to change the relations between the factions at the start of the game.

Maybe you made a mistake! Look at your descr_strat and then post the modified texts, maybe someone could help you! :yes:

have you adjusted your .cfg file to include
[io]
file_first = 1 ?

if you do it on original .cfg you need to also make it read only

otherwise create new .cfg and .bat to launch from
