Social Group Issue

[Backwards Logic]

Recently I joined to play in Askthepizzaguy's Resident Evil game in the gameroom, and I joined the Civilization Fanatics Forums members social group as this is where I was recruited from. Once I joined the group, I was able to post and view the topics inside, but this is no longer the case. Everytime I click on the link to go there, I get an "access denied' post. Some illustrations:

Any ideas as to what is going on? I'm currently a junior member with a PM box of 100. Do I need to be a senior member? But then that wouldn't explain why I could view the group the day I joined it. I dunno. Help please?

the only part i can answer is that you do not need to be a senior member (thats a spot reserved for the lucky few), but try hanging around the forum in other places and make constructive posts and that will get you to normal membership.

Junior member is the stage to weed out spam bots, and to introduce new members to the community.

Members are the normal members of the community.

Senior Members are those who the moderating collective feel have contributed in some way or another, enough to be bestowed with the honourific. (I'm still trying to figure out how I got it and I was given it over two years ago)

It sounds like just a general error, something easily fixable.



Back in my day, junior members had a PM box size of 2 and you had to wait 300 seconds between posts!

I remember when you started as a junior patron, then got promoted to senior patron, then I think there was junior members (who could post in the backroom?) then finally you were a full-fledged member.

Back in my day...

Alright, thanks for clearing that up. I just found it odd that it worked before and now it doesn't, but I see things have changed. Thanks again.

It should work, some area's are closed for junior members but you should be able to post in social groups. Had this bug as well, nobody could post or open threads not even the senior members. One day it just did, might want to contact TosaInu, he is very approachable if you bring him some flowers.
