I noticed something about the combat, that i find a little strange compared to RTW.
In RTW for instance when you charge your cavalry into a unit of enemy archers they do damage.

However in Europa Barborum i did the same.They crashed into the archers hard and the i pulled them back to avoid the Phalanx enemy units who were coming in support,but my cavalry charge had resulted in zero casualties for the enemy archer unit.They did not get one single archer. Huh?

In general it seems that units will have difficulty inflicting any damage at all.Not to be taken literally but i hope you know what im getting at.

Any thougts?

Your cavalry needs to charge properly. Charge boni in EB are huge (while the lethality values have been reduced for more realistic combat). Also, when the archers run away, the cavalry does no damage thanks to a glitch or bug (?) in the RTW engine.

K,that makes sense. I have one more question.
Does this mod have more lagging?
It seemed that way when i played it compared to the original but isn't it the same engine as RTW?
Doesn't it have the same performance standards as the original?

Eb runs slower than RTW, this comes form the detailed models and skins, from the immense scripts and of the RTW-problem to handle memory. EB maxes the possibilities of RTW out.

If you have lags on the campaign map in your turn, simply move a unit one step out of a city and back into it, the lag should be gone now.

Charge doesn't do anything to units that are running away. It switches to pursuing mode as soon as the cavalry is about to hit. It stays in that mode until the receiving unit stops and when it does it switches to melee. Basically there are two types of cavalry; charge and melee. Except for a few, most cavalry sucks at prolonged melee especially the ones designed to charge. Find one with high attack and defense value and exceptionally fast for unit like archers.

Shouldn't have lagging. Increased load time maybe but you shouldn't be lagging unless you play with huge settings and full grass. Then again everyone lags with full grass.

Same engine as it uses the same RTW exe.
