Greek translations help

I need some Greek translations for roleplaying a faction reform.

The new faction name should mean something like this:
- The League (=Koinon?) of Free Cities (=Poleis?) and Lands

And the governments:
- Hegemonic Metropolis
- Council of the Cities (=Poleis) and the Lands
- Council of the Lands

I think Council of Cities would be Synhedrion Poleon, while Council of Lands would be Synhedrion Nomon.

Hi guys.. Long time lurker , first time poster.

I think the translation for "League of Free Cities and Lands" would be "Koinon (or Symmachia) Poleon Autonomon kai Nomon" [ΚΟΙΝΟΝ (ΣΥΜΜΑΧΙΑ) ΠΟΛΕΩΝ ΑΥΤΟΝΟΜΩΝ ΚΑΙ ΝΟΜΩΝ].
I prefer "autonomon" instead of "eleutheron" since Thukydides, Xenophon, and Pausanias use the phrase "poleis autonomai" in various circumstances to refer to city-states that instituted their own laws instead of being subordinate to others. Though of course "Poleon Eleutheron" might have just the same meaning.
For the name of the governments the translation could be: "Metropolis Hgemonike" and "Synedhrion Poleon kai Nomon" [ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛΙΣ ΗΓΕΜΟΝΙΚΗ, ΣΥΝΕΔΡΙΟΝ ΠΟΛΕΩΝ ΚΑΙ ΝΟΜΩΝ] although I'm not sure how the first one would sound to an ancient greek speaker.

Ps1. My knowledge of ancient greek is restricted to the courses I took during my high school years (a decade ago) and to a few books I have read by myself. So my suggestions may be wrong.

Ps2. I don't want to sound like all newcomers who give praise to the team (although praise is always welcome I think :beam:) but seriously guys: your dedication to your project is something rare, especially since you don't make profit from it and your mod is of an excellent quality. I have spent many many hours playing, I have learnt a lot from it and had tons of fun! In fact there's only one other game that has become so important to me. Starcraft. I think the comparison says a lot about your efforts.
