As the title says, in my current Romani campaign, there's 2 full stacks, and 2 half stacks of Lusotannans just standing in one place. The full stacks are standing in a rebel province and the other two are standing in Lusotania.

Why has this faction seemed to have stopped moving?

Are you playing with alex.exe?
Then the Ai probably saves them for the time beeing atacked.
Did you ever play the Alex.Campain??
The persians have huge armies in each corner of their empire, which are impossible to beat if they would atack at the same time. But the Ki never does. Most of the armies are waiting until the province or a boarder province is under atack

Another reason to switch (back) to RTW or BI.exe.

Künstliche Intelligenz. German for AI. He's a bit sloppy with his use of language.

I don't know if it has anything to do with the .exe. I use BI.exe, and sometimes the AI for a particular faction will just get sleepy, and they'll stop doing anything. When this happens, I usually "poke" them in order to wake them up, by teleporting one of their armies. Even if I just move it one square in any direction, they almost always perk up and immediately start doing things again.

i don't know if this issue is related directly to alex.exe .. but on every campaign i play , the AI has stacks and stacks of units all over the place doing nothing at all ... best example was carthage (whom was at war with luso) sitting 2 full stacks next to their southern cities (which had 2 units each) and did nothing at all ... i even moved the stacks around on the map .. but they just ended up going right back to the same spot and idling forever .. so AWESOME!!1

When the AI stops expanding even though they still could, it could be many things. The two most common reasons are that (1) they want a town that belongs to an ally or (2) they want a town that they have failed to take many times. I have noticed that the AI can decide to take a single town and forget about all else until that town is theirs. However, if they fail to take a town several times they seem programed to stop trying, even if they still want that particular town.
