Especially the last 3v3 game, the one which decided the outcome of the whole challenge, was very very exciting. It is recommended to watch this battle if it is available for download. The Wolves team will teache u how to dominate the battle field (almost perfect)and the ELITE team teache u how to break such a domination in a really amazing way.

Imo it is the best game I ever saw in the CWB (just my personal opinion).

Interesting replays, the 3v3 evolved into a nice organised chaos. Paolai almosted saved the day. I like battles like this.

well....Im not agreed...I have played very bad.
On the first game, the one we defended, I had to be faster with my infantries, instead i decided to deploy my arbas on the flank of one of them....terrible mistake Maybe I lost the right time to save Mag...if I had some more seconds...maybe we could win.

On the second game (the one we attacked) I had 2 right chooses:
Retreat under the Magyar's troops, or cover my right flank going on my far right near the red zone, I had to create a wall with my spears, sadly I did not both of these chooses and I left my troops where they was....they rolled me: a cav rush is too strong especially with all the UPGs that they gave on the cavs, and we lost....my fault again

I know Paolai, that's why I said you "almost" saved the day. I am talking about the game where the Wolves defended, you indeed appeared to miss the right time to hit the attackers in the flank and thus disrupt the attack, but you almost made up for it, but your opponents were able to regroup and then you had 3 (or was it just two left?) human controllers against you, which is bad since as a single player you can't react as quickly to their moves, not mentioning the fact they had an edge in numbers.

I would like to remind you, that you were never accused of unhonourable play, not by ELITE and to my knowlegde not by any in the CWB participating player or clan.
If you are referring to Gazoz' comment about the Wolves setup in your titlematch against Luna Rossa, you know perfectly well that he was just "answering" the great words you spoke so loud and proudly BEFORE the match.

Mighty words about the Khan's Wolves hunting down all the cowards sneaking into battlefield-corners...remember?
You cannot be surprised that people laugh when they see you doing exactly that: Corner-camping
I have no problems at all with cornerplay, especially if the cornered side surprisingly escapes the trap....

By the way, i have no such thing as voice-control.

Wolves gave ELITE a very hard time. I think, the battles were so close that both Clans could have won that war. But Fortuna (and our 3v3 team) finally decided the hard but fair battles. Great generals, tough warriors gave their best and showed real skill.

In fact Fogolin was the only 3v3 player with gamevoice on his comp (i don't know whether JP got it) and for example in our most challenges it wasn't used (an exception may be the marj'ayyun 2v2 where Fogo was in Gamevoice with our "embedded reporter" Imperator http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif.

Of course there are obvious advantages if you use VoiceControl. But we mostly use it more for fun and talking to each other than for the serious competitions.

BTW: It shouldn't be too hard for the international Wolves to reduce the amount of typing in their games and therefor be more effective, because most orders or warnings you use can be understood by anyone (for example "Nash cav, cav" or "help me here").

Like this you get rid of typing your fingers bloody and it's for sure very nice and much more personally to use VoiceControl rather than the chat.

Even if any Elite beats me 10 times in a row than it doesnt mean i consider them as better players, they never were and most of them never will. It depends on the definition of whats a better player.

Gazoz its clear for me for some months what ur up too, i could have noticed it during teh last campaign, in this forum when i started CWB, in your own forum. i took me perhaps a year to see it, cuz most signals were nicely camouflaged by yourself and some of your members.

Your attacks in this topic and in some other older topics are of a kind that would even make the Fear Daimyo bluss. I hope your grudge against the most feared wolves is carried by yourself and the Fool surrounding you and not your clans policy.

I advice the moderator to close the topic.

We all know Wolves and ELITES are no allies. But still we had a great CWB, we had great battles and it was challenging. ELITE respects the skill of the wolves and you know that.
For me it is sad, that a few sore loosers bring that much anger to a thread that should in fact be a place to honour all fine players involved in the last title match.

It must be hard to loose two title matches in a short time and therefore not being the communities top clan any longer. But still I cannot understand that a few badly wounded wolves are incapable of accepting this defeat. They make their whole clan look bad, but in fact only a few are to proud and too arrogant to accept they are no longer communities best.
But arrogance is an attitude that one cannot afford when one is not at the top. Sadly some wolves still have to learn this lesson.

Funny how some Elite bunch up together in here, implying that me (and some other wolves) are sore losers.

First of all i lost more games than most of u ever will.

Secondly, i still play warcraft 3 and still lose 75% of my games.

Thirdly, in my sporty youth i have been in more competitions (with chess, shoalin kempo and hockey) then u will ever be. and in all those games i got just one yellow card for being unsporty. And it was cause i was blaming the ref for not paying attention others chopping me off my feet.

What annoys me is the double standards some members of the elite clan is showing here.

In this thread i gave a little signal to mr. Rum und Ehre himself Gazoz on reviewing his own double standards on edge and corner camping and it turned out in another pick on wolves thread.

I will never forget the game in MI i joined with a Marechal newbee as an ally, in a 2 vs 2 where we lost teh game. Remember how u bugged me afterwards (within 15 minutes)in an accusing way that the replay wasnt showing that u had won, but that we had won. lol. I remember how i told u to read at the org forum that teh replay-option was bugged and how to possibly correct it.
This showed to me how important for u a win over me is. Perhaps your only win, but only God and u know that.

Remember your undercover days battling me as Salladin. Hoping for a single win. You will never get over it now i am sure about it. I am inside your head, your Voodoonized, huu better Caganized.

Your clans win over us is well done, its teh test of time which brought u this win. It would have never happend in STW/MI and if all major flaws are corrected in teh roman version it will never happen again. So enjoy teh little meat u catched yourself.

You lost my respect a while ago, and its sad to see u taking others along teh drain with u.

If ur prob is that Magyar doesnt consider Elites to have the stronger players...well...I think the same, but it doesnt means that actually Elites is not the stronger clan. The CWB, is a clan competition, and all the Wolves, believe me, think that Elites is the best group of players, also if Elite has not actually the stronger players. Where ppl are fighting there is always more than one to blame for it.

The fact that Elite is looking for a confrontation with Wolves over being the best clan is fine by me. The differences in the strengths of the clans have never been this small (due to whatever reason). It's the main reason these 'wars' are emerging: clans see their chance to take the nr 1 spot. It's also so damn obvious that attempts to cover that up are rather sily imho.

Wolves placed themselves on the nr 1 spot and can therefor not complain if that position is being attacked by rival clans. I think it's a natural thing Elite is trying to overtake that position. Elite proved themselves worthy on the battlefield but to become nr 1 you will also have to prove urself when the battle is over. That's what I'm somethimes missing in here.

Wolves have also always proven themselves more than worthy on the battlefield. When ur on the nr 1 spot you can count on getting the "nana I beat you" when being defeated. That will always happen even if the reason obviously does not lie with ur playing skills. Only a few peeps around here take this to the personal level.

Jst play for fun: smile when you get the "nana I beat you" and show some respect when ur oponent obviously got the best of you.

JST TO BE CLEAR:

It's my personal oppinion about this subject, plz do not confuse this with the position of Clan Fear (I don't even think the clan bothered to take a stand on this issue anyway but jst to be safe).

Sorry Riki if I hurted ur feelings challenging one of ur friends/brothers, but it is a game, and playing "must" be the most important thing I think, no offence in challnging someone; me and Jimi had fun yestarday (at least me, but Im sure also him had it) and I hope we will have also this eveving....I have never bad feelings when I play vs someone...And again Riki...no bad words vs Elites (as a clan), if u consider that we have said few times ( but i will repeat again without probs ) that they deserved the win, we had no chance to win that challenge, Elites deserved to be the belt holder...
