I have marked posts as "favourite" in the past, but can find no way to access them.
Does this function work, and if so, how?

Yes, it does work, and I make extensive use of it. Posts and threads. Let me go see if they are still/yet there

Nope, I do not see it. If I remember correctly, the favourite posts/threads were on the very top of the page, in one of those quicklinks. There could have even been a "favourties" quicklink. Nor sure. We will simply have to wait and see as Tosa brings more stuff back.
Hello,
Favourite posts was one of the other hacks. It won't work in this upgraded version. Maybe there's an updated hack too. Since, the basic stuff still isn't right, I will wait with hacks.

"Hacks"?
You mean it was a sort of a user-mod available for download only from someone not affiliated with the vBulletin team? And you actually downloaded it? I mean, it is odd that you would go so out-of the way, into a semi-legal (?) territory just to please a few who use it ( and there are plenty of bookmarking add-ons for popular browsers should anyone need to keep a post/thread remembered)...

In this context, my understanding of the word "hack" is a modification of original source code to achieve something in particular; e.g. capitalise names, or whatever.

Basically we're talking unofficial mods of the vBulletin software.
