Well the change the unit's colours anyways, go into campmap/shields/colours theirs are lot's of BIF's, for example the Alhomads sheild is one black stripe and one orange stripe, changing this may change their colours, I will have a look into this, also this may change their colour on the map as to what their controlled lands look like on the miny map, I'll report back to you.

I Saw that too, tried swapping colors with england and it dint work...Having problems replacing castle flags as well.

Yeah, the only thing it does is make the coloured sheild appear next to the factions after the battle.

With regards to the colour thing
I'm still not sure if they uncoded that.
I don't think so.That would be nice.
But their is no documentation or
referance to anything like that in the patch http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif

If you find some let me know.
I was hoping that the new shields could be used for new factions.Yet to see on that one.

Now the coloured shileds are appearing in Custom Battle along with the normal ones, extremely annoying but oh well.

Yea I got them But ended up using the ones i modified for Camelot wich look awsome black with a red dragon and used LBA and Lord Krazys Battle flags with are the genuine pendant of king Arthur. For Merlin I used LBAs and LKs Skinny dragoon on a piss yellow background because that seems to be The Pope colors. But that can be changed as well. Morgan Lafay and Mordred have taken over the bizzantine colors something girly about those colors and that dreadful flag stamping out the holy cross.. But that can be changed as well.

He can put it in because it is in GIF format which works on the noards, any other unless it's JPEG won't work.

If I am not mistaken the animations King David uses where done in Poser (converted to animated gifs).

I considered using Poser to create new unit graphics, but sadly I am not very good at 3D modelling or animating.
Though models could be aquired through various rescource sites.
