adding settlements

is there a guide for adding settlements? u know, increasing settlement #s, and editing the campaign map stuff and so forth? other info - specifically im workin with m2tw.vanilla campaign right now. i have kingdoms aswell.

also on a side note, does anyone know off hand the max ranges of the ranged weapons, --- sling, jav, archers/?:juggle2:

bollocks. ive been hopin to learn how to chop ireland and sicily into multiple settlements. or perhaps other settlement additions.
