Fantasy MMO using a "learn by doing" skill (not level) based character development tree.
Currently in Beta, anyone on the Org playing this?

I was trying to install the beta over the weekend, what a nightmare! I know its only been in beta a week or so but it's so messy and under-supported (maybe it's just a vicious forum) I'm feeling rather foolish for having posted the game here!
atm it seems you have to download a launcher -but there are noises on the forum that it is corrupted.
The launcher then has to connect to a server and download up to 9 gig of patches. 9 gig. Thankfully some people have been seeding the patches as torrents.
Anyway, I have been stuck at both getting the launcher to connect to the game server and installing the patches (the install cannot find the game on my system).
A real mess. I really cannot be bothered to try harder to play a beta... I'd advise anyone else who is interested to wait a bit.
Being honest, I never expected anything else from it just from viewing the first page.
Successful MMORPG's require a good PI and solid support. That game has neither.

Another fantasy MMO.
~:(
The only MMORPG I ever played was Knight Online......this one looks quite nice, graphics-wise, and they sure are praising it a lot on the website, but a 9 GB download would mean like 15 days for me.

And then you'd have to get it to work!

Was tempted to try, but then I recall it branded itself a successor to Ultima Online so I just thought "Shiny Darkfall".
Not my cup of tea.
