Christianity = Assassinations?

Well ok heres the specs of the games i have played, they were all on nromal, as the shimitzu clan, and converted over to christian. I have tried this 3 times so far, and had to restart all 3 times. Not becuase i was getting pummled, but becuase by the time i have taken the island, and Mori's lands, it is just me, one other clan, and 2/3 rds of the map ronin. There is no big horde, no struggle for power on the other side of the island, just white color. 2 times it was Oda left, and 1 time it was Usegi, who had some how been moved to where Imagawa was. Just tons and tons of Ronins. Does a major Clan switching over to christianity make the AI go crazy with assassinations? On all 3 of these games i have been attetmpted at assisnation at least 3 times. While i recieve the message so and so has been assassinated, for almost every clan. What is up with that? I want a good challenge, not just a bunch of push over ronins who rout at the first fire of my muskets. Does this happen to anyone else?

Looks like just bad luck... try again... Try as Oda... or try as Imagawa... or play online... or "Play LordTed"...

Well i don't do online becuase i find alot of attitude, and monk/musket rush. That and i can't do 2v2 games either, and if i play 1v1 i have to host, other wise i just won't get a ping below 500. I live in the boonies. Anyway Just to add to that, i always make enough spies and i had 4 honour 1 spies in my province with my diaynmo, and ninjas still got thru. So iam guessing they were high honor, and that the AI is going cray with the men in the shadows.

that sounds kind of buggy to me, grabes. is your game patched to version 1.12? if not, i'd get the patch and try it again.

if it is already patched then i'm not sure cause i never convert to christianity. i always take the second offer of western friendship which doesnt force you to convert in order to get guns and so on.
