I accidentally clicked on a malicious link from a spam e-mail but closed the window immediately, like literally in two seconds, it barely opened. However I'm still kinda wary and although i have a quadruple-protection - AVG, SpyBot, AdAware and TrendMicro - I still want to be 100% sure nothing happened.

Any good free tools that remove keyloggers and other bad pieces of software?

Get a Kaspersky Internet Security Free 30 day trial (http://usa.kaspersky.com/trials/home-users/internet-security/) (I recommend you make use of a disposable email address). Free protection, no restrictions at all (you can scan and fix the problems) for 30 days. If you are that type of person, you can simply download a new trial after the first thirty days expire...

Best Security Suite and AV out there.

Also, too much redundancy. Most AV programs are incompatible with each other, or at least the paid ones, causing sever problems (although not the ones in your case). TrendMicro and AVG together makes little sense IMHO. Just stick with TrendMicro as a general AV, SpyBot is a splendid secondary AV, and AdAware is obviously good for adware. Your spyware protection is lacking, however.

P.S. You will have to temporarily uninstall SpyBot before installing KIS IIRC.

You mean 'thank you so much'?:laugh:

Stop trolling Meth... For one, you would be glad if it was what you say . For two, it is obviously not pornography, lest there are individuals that have yet to be acquainted with your nature (unlikely, but hey, it never hurts to make sure).

I have avast and spybot running with adaware for back up (not running). Also, has AVG gotten better? It was really bad when I switched to avast a year ago.

Stop trolling Meth...
Meth and stop trolling, I'd say that those doesn't match.

Is it worthy to use TeaTimer (Spybot resident)? I didn't have problems with malware and threats of the like... I'm using Spybot and Avira AntiVir. No problems so far, except that when you increase the security levels with Avira some applications that came with the notebook where detected as viruses.
