Can't get the game working

Hi every one i need help with my EB installation. Firstly yes a followed the guide to installing it but that didn't help. So here i will tell you what my problem is. When i start EB it doesn't start that game it start Rome TW instead and not EB. Now i set the target to C program files creative assembly rome totalwar like were most mods go. Now when i do this i get a few error messages saying Eb doesn't need to be placed in C program files. Then where does it go i have triedtwo times now and it still launches Rome TW please can some one help me

Does your targetline have "-mod:eb" at the end?

This is what my target line says.

"C:\Games\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -mod:eb -show_err -ne

You do not need Barbarian invasion to play EB. :nice:

okay so i tried installing it again but i still can't find any answer. If some one could tell me where it goes then that would be great

Sorry I should have said I was running the mod on BI you don't need to it's just the way I do it.

Your Target line should look something like this


C:\Games\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -mod:eb
Note the "-mod:eb" is the important bit, it tells the game to run EB and not normal RTW.

yes i tried the guide but found it to hard to understand. It was a bit complicating and i find that a bit wierd as i mod Rome TW and i don't understand it.

Yes but remember to replace the first part as it won't be the same with you computer.


C:\(where ever you installed RTW)\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -mod:eb

If your not sure just post your target line and I'll correct it for you.
