Sorry if i missed this topic in the old ones...

My question is:
Will there be any chance for getting a booty from victorious battles in EBii?
If you can get from succesful sieges, so why not from field battles? AFAIK the winning army was profiting from confiscating goods from enemy camp, sell was prisoners for slave, etc. afer winning a battle througout history.
My problem is if you play in an area with large provinces, meaning a lot of marching a lot of field battles and just a few sieges, with very little profit sometimes. That could be compensated by giving some plunder from victorious battles.

What do you think?

I'm sure V.T Marvin or someone else will do an updated version of his Spoils of Victory (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?102254-Spoils-of-Victory-for-EB-1-1&highlight=spoils+of+victory) mini mod.

Head over to the unofficial mod section and you can find the version from EB 1.2.

It is however, NOT SAVE GAME COMPATIBLE!

Welcome to the forums!

Why would you need an EBII version of the Spoils of Victory unofficial submod? IIRC, M2TW has a built-in ransom feature. I've never played M2TW myself, but I was watching my roommate play yesterday and he chose to ransom the prisoners of war after a certain battle. The enemy AI faction said they couldn't afford it, so the prisoners were automatically executed. I think this is a pretty good system.

That. however, does not allow me to equip my Sweboz armies with the weapons and armour of the legions I vanguished in my dark forests then take them on to raid the Roman Empire.

Battlefield plunder would.
