I have played many games as western crusaders and had the nice little bonus of having a crusade loot another province and fill my coffers. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
However, i have recently been playing as the byzantines alot and i get the message "crusaders loot your province for 2500 amount of Florins"
Problem is the game doesnt seem to subtract this amount from my coffers, and in fact seems to not affect me at all. The reason i know this is i will have say 2000 florins and maybe making 700 profit, add to the looting all the units and buildings under construction i should have been in severe debt, but i end up with the money i normally would have.
I think that actually having the loot being taken from my coffers would present a marginal strategic decision on whether or not to allow a crusade passage ex: destroy this week crusader army or allow the chance of them pillaging thousands of florins from me. As it is now, it is no concern as it doesnt directly affect me.
