First of all hello again, it's been a while since i posted on this forum, you may say i have been lurking in the shadows. I am a bit confused with the new look of the site, but i will adapt somehow. Aslo i'm sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Second i apologize if this question has already been answered, yet what i really would like is get a step bye step description what files and specially what line/-s must i edit manually to change a year in Rome to 4 turns as to represent the seasons. Also i would like the generals to age properly : 4 turns + 1 year. I did see this in some great mods, unfortunately they are large mods, and i'm not that good of a modder, so i failed to find the answer to my question.

I must also point out that i modified my Rome with a variety of things already, so that's why i'm asking how do i do this manually ?

Another question would be if it's possible to remove the palace trigger for the Marian reforms, and to bind to a certain year ?
Perhaps with more searching i could find it, but i would rather ask then to make all the changes, start the game and have CTD's.

Well that would be all, as i already added all the rest i wanted (mostly all) in the game, thanx to some older small mods that had the files i could examine and make the changes. Thanx to all modders out there.

Thank you all
Best regards Dexter

It was done via script... you run a script command that set every turn's date of year and season... and made sure everytime you load the game, you run the script.... maybe you should look more inside the scripting sections....

you can just download the vanilla RTW 4tpy mod.... and then look at their script, it was simple enough, but really a repetitive work to be done...

Sorry for the late reply, and thank you all for your help, I will still check this tread once a week at least, and if all things go well maybe I can say that I managed to make the changes I wanted.

Edit : tested some short games, seems all works well with the 4 turn, the game did become harder ( as i intended ), all i need now is to bind the Marian reforms to a specific date, and perhaps lover the population increase rate by 25-50%.
Anny help with this would be greatly appreciated.

And again thank you all for the help.
Best regards

To lower the population growth rate, one technique you can use is to remove all the population growth bonuses from all the buildings like farms etc.

I'm glad you're having no problems with the script, it takes getting used to (starting the script every time you load the game)
