Does anyone watch Criminal Minds, by any chance? A little Asian boy recommended it to me a while back, and I finally got the chance to watch it. Very disturbing show; these people are kidnapping young women, impregnating them, and killing them after childbirth. The CSI shows are great entertainment and all (except for that carrot-top's one-liners, I hate those; one of the women is really hot, though), but they're put to utter shame by this insanity. At least this isn't the episode I heard about where some serial killer would kill women and store their bodies so he could screw them later.

Disturbing ****.

Jesus Christ, Meth, you need to lay off the rape references :dizzy2:. I mean, it is no longer amusing . Well, then again, I have to give you credit for not mentioning white women specifically...

Hehe, this is our running forum joke by now :sweatdrop:...

Yeah I watch this excellent show,

But yeah, some of the serial killers are extremely brutal and graphic, but I still like it  Not that different from other crime shows. Not every episode is about sexual sadists you know...... Some MOST are just run of the mill Serial killers suffering from severe mental breakdowns.

That would usually be a reason to like a show, unfortunately the "brutality" in this show needs these: " "

The show is okay, and I honestly don't find the plots too disturbing, although some are wierder than others. The show is, however, too neat in its course of actions, it's too quirky, and it really fails to emphasize that that particuilar line of law enforcement utilizes a high level of randomness and chance. The show makes it all out to be a bunch of genius investigators who are as smart as whips.

The show lost me when the boss was on the stand during CE by a defense attorney, and he attacked the attorney by pointing out he was wearing imitation jewelry, second hand shoes and his cell was going off every 15 minutes, all of which indicated a gambling addiction which turned out to be true. He got all of that from a few minutes in the courtroom No one is that good, no one.

one of my favorite shows...I´ve been watching it since the very start of the series.

as for disturbing....one episode here and there gets close to being disturbing...not on average though.

Come on! That's one of the best things about CSI! :<

Also, which lady do you think is pretty? I'd guess it was Calleigh Duquesne? :3

" Defense Attorney: The fact is, behavioral analysis is just intellectual guesswork. You probably can't even tell me the color of the socks I'm wearing with no greater accuracy than a carnival psychic.
Hotchner: Charcoal gray. You match them to the color of your suit to appear taller. ... You also wear lifts and you’ve had the soles of your shoes replaced. One might think you’re frugal, but you’re having financial difficulties. You wear a fake Rolex because you pawned the real one to pay your debts, my guess is to a bookie. ... Your vice is horses. Your Blackberry’s been buzzing on the table every twenty minutes, which happens to be the average time between posts from Colonial Downs. You’re getting race results. And every time you do, it affects your mood in court, and you’re not having a very good day. That’s because you pick horses the same way you practice law – by always taking the long shot. ..."

I love that episode personally. I realize it is very different from any actual FBI profiling, but hey what cop show isn't? I just take it as a really cool show with awesome characters

That Southern drawl of hers gets irksome after a while... kinda like a Liverpudlian talking constantly here in the UK. :3

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!

That'd be my response if she was my type. I can see the... attraction someone might have towards her though. :3

I'd like to see a show which combines all three; the CSIs find the criminal through evidence, the Criminal Minds people establish motive and psychological patterns in the criminal's activities and the Law & Order people bring them to justice.

That'd be crazy. :3
