Hey,

It was released yesterday and despite the silly online drm, have anyone bought it yet and does it live up to expectations? Please share your experiences and convince me to buy the game. I enjoyed the previous installments of the series and Im looking forward to this one as well, especially seeing it is yet again set in the Atlantic theatre.

Its out already? I didn't even know. I wasn't expecting it till next month. If you want some good opinions or reviews, check out subsim.com I'm going to go there myself and see whats going on.

From what I heard it was seriously dumbed down, and part 3 is what you will ever need anyway, such an excellent game.

For me, the "silly DRM" is enough to discount the game immediately, despite my avid curiosity. Too bad; it looks promising, and gamers I respect deeply have said they enjoyed previous releases. C'est la vie ... there are plenty of other games out there.

I've read that DRM is no longer a problem. But that aside, the game, from what I've read, is buggy but so was SH3 and SH4 upon release so I think SH5 just needs a little time and good mods.

He was referring to a cracked version of the game. No... The DRM is still a major problem with me buying this game.

Ah, yes I understand now, I misunderstood. And yes the DRM has come front and center as the major problem with the game atm. It would be nice if UBI releases a patch that removes this restriction. The majority of reviews on Amazon give the game a one star almost solely because of the DRM.
