Hey, don't mean to step on any mod toes here but I for one was not aware that the voting had opened for the HOF awards.

Hmmm...went in to vote and realized that I hang around here so much that the only category I could vote on was the single one for this forum. :clown:
No hotseat awards this year I guess.

Yeah, I did ask the question about the hotseat award in the FAQ and didn't get a response
I guess that just means we have to try again next year.
The hotseat scene still seems to be going pretty strong, although I kind of miss the old smaller (mostly Kingdoms) hotseats. Large, grand scale hotseats are great fun (and I'm very happy to be in both the SS and new BC ones) but the shorter smaller ones can as well, and are easy to maintain.

Yeah I liked the smaller hotseats too - particularly if they were autoresolved, they really moved along. I'm in too many games right now to join one though..

The lack of a specific hotseat award is because I felt like there wasn't enough activity in the Throne Room to merit 2 separate awards. This is a pretty small player base as it is, so 2 awards back here doesn't seem fair when compared to the awards available for most other areas of the Org.
That said, IMHO, the hotseat players were by far the top contributors of 2009. I think there's a strong chance the award will go to one of you guys, instead of one of the RPG players.
