Uh ha, I think I have found where the bug is. It needs to set an address (where the last four bytes begin) in th BUF, too. I test the changed buf files myself. It works now.

A quick example for making some changes to the 'assassin_acting.Buf'.
1) open the 'assassin_acting.Buf'.
2) do what you want on the image.
3) just choose 'save bif' in the menu. (of course, you need to backup the original one first)
4) now you can enter the game and see the chnages on the screen.

Only if you create a new bif, you need to set the number by hand. (( Now, I guess the number represents the center of the image in x-coordinate. ))

I can fully confirm that this works in the game. I have found no problems with this. With the interface, when I go to "Extract Frame as BMP", I need to change the "save as type" from "*.buf", which comes up standard, to "*.bmp", which is a bit wierd, cause it says export as BMP.

Anyways, thanks so much for the work

I can not stress this enough
If you don't want problems
with bif imports use an original
bif to extract from and import to.

Do not make new ones with the bifreader.
This is more work and it's not
as reliable.
