Ok grafx2 is a dos based program, and it's been to long between uses, eg: my dos skills suck.
Any one have any driving instructions with this grafx2???
Need to know so I can finish converting my review_panel bif's into lbm's and Info_pics bif's (which i still don't know how to do.....Yet!http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif.

ultimate paint is more user friendly than grafx
(and will edit lbm's)
while grafx is my personal favourite,
it is a bit of a bear to use,
if you can't get ultimate paint to do the job, post here,
and i will find all my instructions for grafx...
Thanks Barocca
much appreciated

you select 800x600 res
It may fry your screen
I have one screen that will
play ball the others don't like it.
I think that screen comes from
that era too.
It lets you use a mouse
and dos commands are the
same more or less as windows.
If you put the bmp you wish to load
and the lbm you wish to save over
in the gfx folder it will make it easier
to find them http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
First you load the bmp
the image will appear on the screen
then you save
it will let you choose
the file type you wish to save as
then choose the lbm file
you wish to write to
in the same way as the bmp
the image will appear on the screen
you can change the name or just overwrite
the lbm.
I think that's what you do.

Thanks LK,
but I Downloaded Ultimate paint, much nicer to use. And I dont run the risk of frying a monitor, as I only 5 monitors and can't afford to lose one. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif
