I'm sued!! (http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5hWdp0_7qbxK1kWT9XMD2mfZSyZUg)

I only wished they would do the trial in another country so my tax money isn't wasted on this nonsense.

If it doesn't work then they wouldn't bother with a lawsuit. If it does work then it's a legal measure to promote health. I'd rate the chance that the company is doing this to protect my "freedom of choice" as zero, they're spending these millions on lawyers because they'll lose a lot of money, and that means the law is a good one.

Though I have to admit that I didn't listen to their spokeswoman when she spoke, as she was danish. And that's just too much to bear....

Nope.

Civilized people use snus. (http://blingyou.net/blog/wp-content/gallery/snus/snus3.jpg) Anyway, if you're afraid that I've now turned into a vicious smoke-hater, then don't worry; I'm not. This law was introduced while I was still using, and my opinion was the same then. Secondly, I quit because I'm a cheap bastard who isn't willing to pay anymore, not because of health concerns.

Some 21 percent of Norwegians aged 16 to 74 smoked on a daily basis in 2009, while an additional nine percent smoked occasionally, according to Statistics Norway.

About 19.8 percent of U.S. adults -- 43.4 million people -- were smokers in 2007

Smokers = a shriveling minority. Phillip Morris makes much more money in the 3rd world. They're silly putting up a fight in the West.

Pardon me while I light up.

Developing countries, too. In Serbia, over 40%, and no one seems to be doing anything about it...

Developing perhaps, but not developed.

I am utterly glad we have tobacco around, would be harder to smoke the brown stuff if not...

Oh dear, snus...

I have a good friend of mine from Norway, he uses snus and Skruf around 4 to 5 times a day. It's horribly addicive.

4-5 times a day? My first snus of the day was seconds after I fot out of bed, and the last one was while reading in bed. Every second of the day I wasn't eating, sleeping or having sex, I used snus.

Wet tobacco you roll into a ball and stuf under your upper lip.
