Pirate and brigand

Hi everyone...
First, i think i have to tell you i'm french and not bilingual ^^
And moreover, being a little bit lazy I use Reverso then that would be nice of step too much to pay attention on my way of expressing me :)
Then, my problem is the following one: how is that the bandits and the pirates stop appearing no matter how? Because that becomes really heavy to strength. :furious3:
I tried to put the bandit and the pirates spawn been worth in 999 but that does not stop their appearances
If somebody knows how to make, I love him/her, simply : )

Salut, les Pirates et bandits vont apparaitre, peu importe! ca fait partie du script de Rome : total war... Peut-etre il y a un moyen de modifier le EDU, mais j'suis une merde en informatique (et de toute facons, j'en doute)... selon moi, faut t'habituer! Pis je sais pas sur quel difficultee tu joues, mais sur Hard, les bandits apparaissent, mais n'assiegent pas tes ville... quelle faction tu joues? si c'est une faction riche (Cartage ou Hellenes...) ben fais toi une marine et chasse les pirates... sinon, si t'es plus Gaulois et Sweboz, ben... laisse les faires!) I told there was no way to just ''make dissapear'' the brigand and pirates... appart of hunting them down... seriously, even by modifying the EDU, that's not possible right?

I think there is, but I dunno how. I build lots of "Law" buildings (Temple of Wodanoz and Jupiter instead of Ceres and Ingwoz), and hunt them down or bribe them (depending on situation) when they do appear anyway.

Duguntz, i'm playing with romani, i have the gauls, the great britain, the spain, the greece, the iltaly corse and sardaigne and the turkey.... I've got many army, marian army......
In my treasure, i've 50 000 000 mnai...Money it's not a probleme : )
And i play in VH/M
I attack the slaves but it's so loud in a moment....Only when i'm in pax romana : )
I've speak of this problem on a forum in french and they told me this ( i translate of course ^^ ) "Your problem can be resolved by touching files script but EB uses scripts different from the vanilla game" so i think the best thing it's to come here and direct ask to the modders :)

probably you're right... well, if your Treasure is (indeed ) so great, just assign an army for the bandits hunting! if you don't want to fight them all yourself, use the auto-calc with the cheat auto-win (I can't explain it good as I never used auto_win cheat...)

I can, but not in French, for with a loading time of 3-5 mins I cannot be bothered to manually fight vastly inferior rebel stacks. 15 such battles is 45- 60 mins and you can easily have 15 such in 1-2 years (4-8 turns), so I have no wish waste an hour in a day gaming 6 turns of unexiting battles. But I cannot explain in French...

Haha, I forgot my old Algonquin friend was Quebecois. My own French is somewhat limited, but I could certainly survive alone in Quebec City, Montreal, or Paris. :smile:

My experience with the cities of Quebec and Montreal is that everyone can speak English anyways. I'm decent at French, but I never have to speak it when I'm up there and if I try to inevitably the other person responds in English. So, I think you'd probably be fine haha

Have fun! It's a good city, although the bartenders can be a bit touchy towards foreigners, it was like they wanted us to tip them higher because we weren't Canadian.

Don't worry, The saying that Quebecer are ''Red-coats eaters'' is mostly prejudice, as like any otehr nations (because Quebecer ARE a nation of they're own) we evoluted! well... mostly ;) Of corse, we have a grudge against Ontarians, but that dosen't count... they're Ontarians!

Either will do. Just affect a burr and mention potato famine/highland clearances and you'll be quids in! Although any time I have gone to the US or Canada I'm mistakenly thought to be Irish.

Apart from one guy in Philly who was a Belle and Sebastian fan and hit the accent right.

Do you say how remove pirates ? Yes or no ? ^^
