Nice forum.

I just joined to find out if we will ever get a new total war game build around hand to hand combat, as I miss the action of RTW and alike, not sure im loving NTW after playing for a while, certainly not as good as RTW IMHO.

While there's obviously no way we can "know" for certain whether or not the Total War series will return to a period that features melee fighting, I'm quite confident in saying that it will happen sooner or later -- probably sooner. Many fans have been clamoring for a follow-up to both Rome and Shogun, and I believe it's only a matter of time before we get one. ~:)

I dearly hope so - RTW is such an epic - I dont feel the same way with the ETW and NTW...

I'd quite like to see the naval engine in RTW2 - they should be able to model the triremes finally!
