how to play as Minor w/o Independence campaign?

Is there a "cheat" to play as Minor Faction without finishing the Independence campaign first? Thanks.

Indeed there is, my good friend!

You can edit any faction as playable in the startpos.esf file. To do this, you'll need an ESF editor.
