*UPDATE* lets make this post the hub for more posts helping mod makers find books to help them put together Mods
i recently found a book in my collection called "Historical Atlas of the Medieval World" by John Haywood
this book, while not as precise with who held what at what time, is great for getting a picture of the rudimentary holdings of all of the important kingdoms of the time. It tells you what people lived where and gives an overall sense of the achievements of each power.
this book is from barnes and noble press and is extremly cheap and useful (especially for mod makers)
to save you time, the ISBN # is: 0-7607-1976-4
at $9.95 its a must have (what is that, like 5 euros?)
