I have a CTD that just begun to happen... it happens everytime I start the game ( I can't play it) right as it seems the loading screen should finish ( about 3-4 min after starting)... A little beep is heard you click the pointer to be CTD... this is the main thing done since it started: ... I installed a copy of Rome Total Realism Platinum on it... and ever since I haven't been able to play... any suggestions??? I have to say that although the battles seem to be better... the trait system and family member system along with government system is owned by EB...

Perhaps RTR Platinum overwrites some original RTW files?

Hmmm the only thing I can think of is to maybe check in the EB Unofficial Mods section? Hopefully someone has written a guide to EB with RTR?

EB and RTR need both to be installed in a fresh and clean version of RTW 1.5

You bugged it by installing RTR...make a backup of your save-games and install new. If you wish to have multiple mods or multiple versions of one mod installed simply copy a clean RTW 1.5 version.
