It is play-off season.
Hockey, obviously.
What other sport could there be?

It is a small town.
All channels tuned to hockey.
And Don Cherry's wardrobe

Who is left out?
All the proper residents are watching.
Silently, and cheering.
Or booing.

Who cannot stand the national pastime?
Who is drowned under hysteria?
Who sees each Fall, Winter and Spring blocked from all minds?

Who are the poets?

Let me tell you first hand that this hasn't been prepared well.
But I foolishly forgot that sign-ups could run for a long time.
So here you see this poor exposition and a short rule list.
Or, no rule list at all, because it is a very basic small game.

Maybe a few rules.
No outside discussion.
No quoting PMs
No extended inactivity
No poems in regular posts
No support for American hockey teams.

And that's all.

Sign-ups (0/17)

Mafia in general isn't interesting me like it used to, but inject a bit of hockey to save it? :balloon2:

I have too much on my plate, so please use me as a reserve player, only if you need one.

Any hockey theme is awesome, but I don't understand what this game is. Is this a regular mafia? Why is it called "Poetry"?

I might join.

Don't know anything about Hockey and little about Canada.
But I'll sign up as a reserve player

Since, at this point, the game is just dead weight that is dragging on the schedule, I'm going to end sign-ups.

Please lock this thread.
