yes, this is a known bug. if you make a map with the map editor, you must completely exit the game first and reboot it (not your whole machine, just the game). then load your map up again and it shld work.

excellent.

there is one other thing you can do with the walls. if you turn the walls with the raised portion of the embrasures (the arrow shooting portion on the top of the walls) facing inward, the walls will fall outward in the animations. i dont know that you'd ever want to, but there it is.

glad you got it working.

be careful of making all those maps, it's the road to other wickedness, like...like, modding (says 3 hail marys and rubs his beads reverntly)

Hey Alrowan I'd luve to see your map; Le Krak.

Is it available for d/l ?

I also thought a city map will be totally awesome, maybe I can help you with that. We could work on it together. lemme know if you think so.

well krak aint up here yet, but if you contact me over AIM or ICQ then i could send you the copy as it stands at present, as for the city map, what ive been looking at is minimal use of different buildings, as you get to a point where you have too many polygons. ive found a few larger buildings with a lower polygon count, so it just means replicating them a lot more

my AIM is Alrowan83
and ICQ is 23266109

Just another question regarding walls:
Using the top-centre buttons in the editor one can snap the walls to respective positions on the tile, but.....it's also possible to 'move them freely'.
What is the point of using these snap buttons as the 'free movement'-button allows one to move the walls in accordance with one's creative feel ?

the buttons allow you to snap the walls and such together more easily.

the snap feature i tihnk is the only way to make castles that work, otherwise they have gaps in the walls an dont make an enclosure, making it a normal map with a castle in the middle
