Do you mean recruitment viewer? Or do you mean the viewer that produced the EB 1.1 maps?

I mean the viewer that produced the EB 1.1 maps. I sure hope it works with v1.2.

I expect nobody within EB will object to me releasing that bit of code; but'll ask the team anyway (since it is part of EB it's kind of their code as well). If I get the go-ahead I can prepare a zip file or soemthing. You will need Java 1.6 to run it. And I should probably copy/paste some instructions from our beta testing forums in some readme file for it too, otherwise it's not very usable.

It should handle EB 1.2 just fine, since it parses RTW style code (thus it should work with *any* RTW mod). It will probably need a heavy update in the future if we want to use it for M2TW code (which is a bit different, IIRC, and application not very flexible in how it parses its data), also to eradicate its stylistic warts and some threading sins. It's not the worlds most user friendly application (nor the world's best coded one :sweatdrop:) though, also it requires that you prepare a PNG image which is a copy of the MAP_REGIONS.TGA file (any image program capable of reading TGA files should do). This is because the default Java image library does not handle TGA files; and the application needs a copy of the regions map to plot the data.

The tool has been released, you can find a link in the EB 1.1. Maps thread (first post).
