Ultimately to install and run EB 1.2 with Alexander.exe

RTW Gold is no problem. Look at the mini-mod sub-forum how to play with alex.

Yeah I have RTW Gold DL off steam, I had issues, but if you add the Launch Command they give you under the install guide it works fine,

Yes, but that's a problem with Steam, not with RTW Gold.
