M:TW ENGLAND (new campagin/map need peoples help)

ok guys, heres the story

i am just about done with the lukemap file for this campagin, and as it seems that people here are all getting ancy for a new campagin, i decided to try do this collectivly. Obviously the map is only the bare begginnings for a new campagin, as we need to edit a lot of things to make it work.

what i am proposing to do is to get a team of people who can help make this campagin happen. Each one will have a different task (castle placement, borders, BIF's ect) to do, that way we can get this thing done nice and fast. When i am done with the Lukemap, i will make it available for all those willing to help to use as a guide.

i would like to help m8, if u let me know what to do and how to do it i will help, as i was aiming to do a war of the roses conversion and need a map of england to use. i already have a map with all the counties on . well ive got the lukemap made already, minus the lighter borders around each county, which i am looking for a relativly easy way of doing this.

after that i will be moving on to making the other part of the map, the presentable side.

What i really need though is people to help with editing the text files, thats the hardest part of a campagin

Alrowan, although i wont be able to physically help you out as i have my own mod to run, i will give you a tip:
there is a Shrink selection tool in most photo editing programs. Select a province, paint it with the colour of its border (yes, the whole province) then shrink the selection by 2-3 pixels and now paint the smaller selection with the colour the province should have...

IMO the presentable side is the hardest to do, at least a good looking presentable side...

BTW, did you make england horizontal so it fits the map better?

as far as the the map goes, ive gon so far as to include some of the european coast from normandy to denmark, but im thinking of turning this area "off" like africa is in the main game. The main purpose though of having this extra region is for more different options for other modders, so i could fill up the 100 land regions and 40 sea regions as on the original map (save me from having possible crashes)
.. but the main reason was for diversity. Right now im focussing my campagin to be william the conqueror, but could possibly make an anglo/saxon invasion, a viking invasion... or any other number.. including an arthurian mod
