Welcome to the forum!

Be sure to don't miss the EB-FAQ (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=84854)!

Which shortcut do you use? EB-Singleplayer?

Create a new shortcut to RTW.exe and edit the target line. Simply add: -mod:eb -show_err -ne

i installed the game in the program files , and the mod in the same directory...
yes i use the eb-singleplayer, and i tried that solution before but it opens a window with a trivial script message where it shows several commands and then shows the same error.

Delete map.rwm in\EB\Data\world\maps\base and start the game new.

You'll sure you put the 1.2 patch in the right folder (the same 1.1 is installed to) and the fixes are correctly applied?

That's quite odd, for the installation verification doesn't actually change anything. It only tells you which files are different in your installation from mine. Still, great that it's working now, enjoy :beam:.
