Need some help guys...

I'm in 33 BC in my Romani campaing, and i'm a light-years away from geting a FM, who could qualify as Augustus... So i want to force one to become one... How can I do that? I don't have 90 provinces yet, and i'm not planning on getting them without the Imperial troops, as it would be ahistorical.
So what i'm asking is, how to change the EDB (or how is it called) or how to do anything to get the reforms in 27 BC...

My second question is, how can i change my Bodyguard to Equites Singulares? Is it possible to do this Mid-game? (please tell me it is)

thanks for your help

1. Just change in the script the conditions by setting the year to 27. cut 90 provinces down to a number you like and delete the augustus line.
2. Yes, Just copy the equites Singulares entry from the multiplayer over the old bodyguard entry and do the same for the backup file. Of course dont copy the line with the name.

Thanks for the help... But will deleting the Augustus line give me an Augustus as leader or not? It would be very important to me to have my leader being Augustus:D.

Oh, and what precisly do i need to delete? I don't want to delete to much...

Edit: about the Singulares... I could really use a more detailed explanataion :(

Hey Anubis!

At one point in my campaign I wanted the Augustans too, but faced the problem that I would already have conquered the world when I reach the date to unlock them. After I got to the VC's I changed the condition to 1 province. So then I got the Augustans, but no Avgvstvs FM.

Didn't know about the Singulares.

What about the raiding targets, how many of those left?

Good luck with your (very) late campaign!

Hey dude,

You could use the add trait/cheat function. Unfortunately in my second file as the Romans I desperately needed the reform to help fight away the *looks around cautiously for satalexton*... the Macedonians. From my experiences, the add_trait function as the Romans got a little messy as I could never give a trait to the intended FM (the trait would either go to a useless FM or a spy...). So I just gave the trait to anyone I could then killed off my faction leader so the reforms would occur.

Anyways just type in:
give_trait "(first name) Romanvs" (trait name)number

I think that is how you add the cheat? I can't remember but it's something like that. Good luck with it all.

I know about adding traits, but i'm not sure which ones should i give... I'm hoping there's a way to do in EBBS script, to make it very simple for someone to get the title Augustus and the reforms... gah

@Fluvius... I posted in the empires thread my campaig, so take a look at it. (new changes from that map, i've conquere Crete, Ancyra, Memphis, Siga and i'm besieging Ptolemais Theron... I'm waiting for the imperials to conquer the area around the Danube, the Alps, an expedition in Arabia, and meddling in Armenia :D)

Shamless duble-posting an bump :( (don't murder me, but it's really a good feeling to be true to a campaign so long, and still be able to get a new fresh look of it)

I'm sorry, but i'm at 29 BC... I would really like now to get the Reforms, and preferably with a character to get called Augustus... also, the question about the singulares still stands...

(ok if noone answers i will start offering money :D)
