Never thought you'd be reduced to that level, Hooah. I'd throw you a couple pennies, but I'd make sure you'd have to reach for them.
Damn hippie. Get a job.

I believe in a strong central governemnet in foreign policy and law. Otherwise leave it the hell alone. And I am not in the military yet and my daddy sells jets now doesn't fly them.
So Ha
I believe in a strong whiskey followed by a mellow cigar. And I'd toss you a quarter if I passed by, Hooah, you darn hippie.

Do as my brother did, he took my sisters violin and made a sign 'I really need lessons, it's best for all of us' or something like that. He made hundreds of guilders that day.

today i only had 7 minutes to play, so i only made 11 cents.
but tomorrow i have lots of free time!
unless i get too caught up in Men of War, that is....
You should try playing in places where people have more money. Though I guess 11 cents for 7 minutes isn't a bad salary. Better than serving out fast food or digging ditches!

dude, im playing in the halls of my high school.
and to make things worse, everyone is jewish
am i allowed to say that? :sweatdrop:
I know, that's why I suggested you expand your horizons. If you do the same in college for example, you might make 35-50 cents for 7 minutes. Moving up in the world, ya know?
Hooahguy
05-25-2010, 23:45
i dont exactly have wiggle room when it comes to where i play.
No problem. What your doing seems quite satisfying anyway. At least I would be content probably.
Hooahguy
05-25-2010, 23:56
yes, it is very satisfying. especially when hot girls walk by smile and put in 5 cents.
Shame, shame *blushing*! Though a talent that is appreciated, especially by things that are fond, is rewarding in itself.
Are you seeding your guitar case with some of your own cash?

i made a $1.35 today playing "Foxy Lady" by Hendrix!
Play some Pink Floyd next time. I will subliminally give you a C note!
Hooahguy
05-26-2010, 22:57
which pink floyd song? i would do Comfortably Numb but you need an orchestra for that.
Ok lets see...popular song: Time has a nice solo in the middle...obscure song: Corporal Klegg. Have one of your buddies do the kazoo solos for the latter and you would rake it in! I'll come to your school and pretend to be Syd Barrett! I can do an LSD trip even while sober!!! You'll have to be content with this Syd playing only air guitar though. :(

Riff out don't stop believing you would make a hell of a lot of money
yes but at what cost to my conscience?
1. Adapt Hava Nagila into a metal version, complete with a rocking solo and power chords.
2. Play in a Jewish school.
3. ???
4. Profit!

i know what im playing-
Fortunate Son, by Creedence Clearwater Revival. awesome song, lots of chords and easily recognizable.
Multi-instrumentalists get so much more money. Consider attaching a triangle to your guitar.

Played it on the old 'zouk as well, on the Central Station of Utrecht not too long ago. I got kicked out after 7 minutes, apparently it's illegal to play there.
...or so they said.

I know, eh? I often play the harmonica and guitar/bouzouki at the same time. People think it's pretty cool ;D

Play your guitar and get a friend, if not yourself, to rap to the beat. :singer:
rap to the beat.
I like the idea! Perhaps you could dress like MC Hammer and sing a Vanilla Ice song. That would provide for an entertaining and contradictory mood and performance!
