Hello, how can i make units from one faction available to another? (more specifically to keep the kopis-wielding pedites extraordinarii for another faction, or as Romans after the Augustan Reforms, preferably recruitable all over the map)

someone had a "Civil war guide", posted on the AARs I thing, but I don't remember exactly.:embarassed:
If some "civilised factions" like Chermonidean Ligue, Epirus, Carthage hold provinces in central Italy I think that they can recruit some citizen troops or samnites, they are recrutable for almost every faction, you can make your civil war as a "Social War" (rebelion of the italian allies) against Rome, after that civil war all italics received roman citizenship.
I wanted to create a civil war in my Pontic Empire but I gave up, so I hope you will succede to recreate a soci civil war, and perhaps make an aar or some screenshots for us :sweatdrop:

Thanks for your replies Imperator I.
Samnite swordsmen just won't do, i'm afraid. Unless they also have kopises?

But how do you add a unit from one faction to another?
How do you change the area of recruitment for a unit?

Have a look here (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?122201-Adding-units-to-different-factions), I never did it, but still may.
