I was wondering if there are any good links and good books about Assassins, particularly the Medieval ones. I'm looking particularly at their equipment and methods of actions, and a bit about their philosophy and way of thinking...

The Alamut link is really informative, thank you.
Most of the books I know about them, but they are mainly about their philosophy. There seems to be almost no information about their equipment and method of action!
