I'm sorry for posting this questions again, but i can't get an answer, and my campaign is stuck at the most important moment of my EB carrier, so please allow me to post in this forum, hoping to get some "Technical help" as the title of the forum says. I hope this isn't the part of the moding sub-folder, although if it is, i sincerly apologise. ( i feel bad just by writing this again, but as i said i am desperate).

1) I'm in 27 BC, how can i force the Augustan reforms (preferably with a FM becoming Augustus)? Is there any way to give the trait want's to seize power through the console? Or to give separate traits that make this one happen? Or what do i need to change in the EBBS script?

2) is it possible to give the Equites Singulares to my FM's as bodyguards midgame? And if it is, how? (i need detailes).

Again i apologize like a million times before, but as i said, desperate times call for desperate measures:shame:

EDIT:
I've managed to get the reform, but without an Augustus... It was just a matter of putting a few ";" in the EBBS, and waila... I new question is am i supposed to have the Antisegnani and Cohors Evocata at this time?

the second question still stands

No, you can not make Equites Singulares your general`s bodyguard unit in midgame! Unless you edit the vanilla Marian Reforms, they are the only way.

Wierd... someone told me i could... Isn't there an artificial way to add them? For them to be still named Equites Consulares, just that i change their skin, stats and description?

And what's with the rant?

You still can`t do it midgame! You`ll have to start a new campaign.

Go to export_descr_units, find entry roman_cavalry_eqvites_consvlares and roman_cavalry_eqvites_singvlares. You could just swap them, but there`s probably an easier way...and I do not know it! :(

And that ranting smiley follows every my post. Silly, eh?

Sux... a new campaign is of no use to me... I'm at 25 BC now... :)
A new campaing isn't really something i even remotly think of doing...

change the model used by eqvites consulares, port their description to singulares one... BE CAREFUL : DON'T CHANGE THEIR UNIT STATS!!! if you want this taken effect midgame

If you change anything like mentioned above, keep a clean save-game outside your RTW folder, we don't want to loose your fine Roman campaign!

I've kinda given up on this... Thanks for the feedback... But i still don't understand precisly what i need to do... Which files to i need to edit? And why should i put a save-game outside of the RTW folder? Is this such a huge hazard? I do not dare to touch anything if it could irreversably screw up the Campaing...

On a side note: I just got my first CTD in 16 BC since 225 BC or sth... I just hope it was random... I'm kinda scare to start the game again for fear it might be repeatable:laugh4:

Rather than answer my question precisly, you put this dagger in my heart!! :D....

But it's 14 BC now... :D... But a new CTD happened. I think the reason for the old one was Cenabum rebelling
