Playstation 3 games

Having finally exhausted Demon's Souls and Madden, I'm getting an itch to try a new game or two for the ps3. So, here I am, asking if anyone has recommendations. Not looking for fps in any way, shape, or form. Third person shooter/use of third person shooter is acceptable. RPG's are acceptable, but if its too "stereotypically JRPG", I have to pass. I want something that's polished, fun, and can, ideally, give me a decent number of hours. I'm also not terribly interested in "interactive story telling", aka Heavy Rain. In particular, I'm curious if there's any hidden gems that have slithered under the cracks.

Demon Souls is one of a kind sadly. You say no fps but I am not going to listen, Killzone 2 is a gem, just not that hidden. Get Siren if you can handle absolutely :daisy: terrifying. I can't. gawd that game is scary.

Picked it up last week. My only gripe is that the game has a tendency to not let me play, and instead make 80% of the chapter cutscenes. But aside from that, the gameplay works flawlessly. :yes:

Got it but it has not been unwrapped, my shame is even greater it's collecting dust. Too many good games I am drowning, keep buying them.
