Allergies

I have never had an allergic reaction before. Unfortunately I seem to be experiencing one this morning. Must have been all the pine tree pollen or dust & whatnot from mowing the lawn after dinner yesterday. It's been very warm and dry lately, no rain for 2 weeks at least. I woke up this morning with very itchy/ swollen/ light sensitive eyes and plugged sinuses and feeling like yuck. I already opted out of the Memorial Day Color Guard Parade, and don't feel like attending the barbeque afterwards either. Heck, I don't even feel like having a beer...I'm not gonna die am I ?:sick2: Mommy!

Yeah but but but, it's a beautiful day. Sunny, 85F, there's barbeque, horseshoes & cold beer...and I'm stuck in the house cowering in a darkened corner. Eyes swollen almost shut, headache stuffed up nose :shame: ...life stinks sometimes.

You are on a gaming site, my man! You're stuck in the house with allergies while the world passes you by, an excellent time to start an EUIII game if I ever heard one. (Or something similar, i mean you choose your video game fantasy ~D)

This is what I do with physical injuries or whatever, but sometimes when I feel generally crappy I can't be bothered to play games.

I end up just browsing the net for stupid stuff looking at sites like the onion or cracked.com...

Basically, that's what I've been doing even though my eyes feel like they're coated with sand, dry & itchy. Too warm and stuffy to take a nap. Even the barbeque care package the wife brought home for me tastes like bleh. You know I'm sick when I turn up my nose at barbecue ribs & chicken. This better not turn into a chronic thing.
